Through this professional certificate program, participants will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to build impactful postsecondary school counseling programs, including support for students in the college search and application processes.

 

The basics

  • Intended audience: New and prospective college counselors.
  • Cost: $125-$300.
    • Cost is dependent on NACAC membership status.
  • Estimated completion time: Nine hours.
    • Participants have six months to access and complete the course.
  • Upon completion: Nine continuing education credit hours, a completion certificate, and a digital badge.

 

Course description

Featuring outstanding faculty from a wide variety of public and private institutions, this online course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the college search and application processes, as well as resources that will set them up for success. Participants will gain a national, regional, and international perspective while learning about best college counseling practices across multiple dimensions.
