Not all college-bound students go directly to a baccalaureate-granting institution and stay there for four uninterrupted years. In fact, more than one third of undergraduate students transfer between institutions at least once. Nearly half of all first-year students begin at a community college with plans to move to a four-year school later, and many more students accumulate credits from multiple institutions on the path to degree completion. This course will provide college counselors with the tools and knowledge needed to support students navigating the college transfer process.
